The Mother’s Union exists to share Christ’s love for the world by encouraging, strengthening and supporting marriage and family life.
The Mother’s Union is a world-wide Society whose aim is the advancement of the Christian religion in the sphere of marriage and family life.
The branch meets in St Martin’s Barn on Monday evenings once a month where a programme of speakers and activities take place.
They have recently heard about the Samaritan’s Purse scheme, a pilgrimage to Israel and a trip to Kenya.
They enjoyed an evening scrapbooking and celebrated Christmas with the Guild.
Members take part in all aspects of church life- housing coffee mornings, arranging flowers in church, and at the Flower Festival they provide refreshments and take on the roles of stewards.
They are a friendly group and new members are always welcome.
