Women’s Home Group

We are a friendly group of women from the Benefice who meet each Thursday morning in term time in Great Leighs for Bible Study, reflection and fellowship.

Its a very informal group of women of all ages and lively supportive discussion takes place around coffee and biscuits. Recently they have incorporated Lent course material and the Spring Harvest study DVD. 2011 starts with ‘Creation’ including and inspirational video. Lots to look forward to.

It is stimulating and supportive with lots of laughs along the way and any women are welcome to come when they can – no need for a weekly commitment. Its very informal.

New members of all ages are always welcome.

The group is an inspiration to its members and we would like to invite others in to join us!

WORLD WATCH PRAYER LINK www.wwpl_w@mail.etearfund.org 18h May 2012 Welcome to World Watch Prayer Link, ....Next week, on the 23-24 of May, Egyptians will be heading to the polls to vote for the country's new president. It's only the second presidential election in Egypt's history with more than one candidate and the first following the 2011 Egyptian revolution. Please pray for peace and stability in the run-up to the presidential elections. Fatal clashes have already occurred throughout the country and the fear is these will escalate as tensions ........we pray for the family of Julian Mynott and his 3 year old son Freddie who died when their boat capsized and for the rescue of 6 year old Florence and 7 year old Archie who also fell in the river. May they make full recoveriies and be re united with their mother........we pray also for the family where all 6 of their children died in an arson attack on their home. ....... we pray for the Queen as she continues her countrywide tour to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee. Give her the strength to carry out the duties planned for her with grace and fortitude . ........................... and we pray for others, known and unknown to us, who are sad, sick, suffering and lonely some of whom are named in the Prayer section of this web site......
